Luxury Awaits

In the South of France, tennis is only the beginning of the pleasure.
After the last rally, the day gently shifts toward the table. This is where recovery becomes ritual—and indulgence becomes art.
The food in this region is sun-driven and effortless. Plates arrive with sliced heirloom tomatoes, sea salt and golden olive oil pressed just hours away. Burrata melts under the knife. Courgette flowers are lightly fried, anchovies draped without apology. Grilled sea bass or prawns are served simply, kissed by lemon and herbs, nothing more needed.
And then there is the wine.
A glass of chilled Provence rosé—pale, mineral, almost translucent—catches the light as easily as the conversation. Crisp white wines follow for those lingering lunches.
This is luxury the Riviera way: What makes it feel luxurious is the setting and the pace. Lunch is taken on a terrace, often at the club or by the sea. There’s time to sit, talk, and actually enjoy the meal. No rushing, no checking the clock.
In the South of France, food and wine after tennis aren’t a reward or a celebration.
They’re simply how the day continues.
